Presentation

According to the markets needs, SALHER has developed a new compact pretreatment system, for solids, grease and sand removal.

In contrast to conventional system in stainless steel, Salher’s equipment is made in GRP on a steel frame. This facilitates the installation in place where there is a high corrosion rate. This allows an advantage in delivery time and especially in final prices; giving to the final product a quality higher to similar equipment on the market.

 Description functioning

Inlet flow is done by pumping (see Salher’s pumping station range) and solids are retained during the first stage by the compactor and dryer sieve screw, or in option by a rotary screen.

In the second stage and through forced aeration, grease and sand or high-density solids are separated.

Greases which are floating on the surface are extracted by an automatic scrapers set. Higher-density solids are settling in the system lower area, where there will be extract by air-lift system. At the air-lift exit a FILSA system can be install for dehydration.

There are 6 different models and for flow until 173m³/h
