New industrial water treatment reference project by Salher
Salher has successfully launched a sewage treatment plant for a liquid waste management plant of industrial origin in northern Spain. This new WWTP is designed to treat an average flow of 150 m³/h.
Salher’s latest turnkey project is an industrial water treatment plant that begins with a cylindrical dissolved air flotation equipment, VESPA. In this first stage of the treatment, the sludge generated is stored in a tank for subsequent dehydration through a filter press.
Following the water treatment line we are entering the ultrafiltration stage. In this case, Salher’s design has a technology of 26 modules of last generation tubular GRP membranes, with less cross flow. This allows for greater performance and a 50% reduction in operating costs.
The solution created by Salher allows the subsequent reuse of water. Thus, in the last phase the treated water is disinfected by means of an advanced ultraviolet chlorination and disinfection system for later reuse.
