Salher is committed to photovoltaic self-consumption
With a view to a more sustainable and economical approach, Salher has installed solar panels at its headquarters in Arganda del Rey, Madrid. The Spanish company’s aim to develop its business in an environmentally responsible way starts with photovoltaic self-consumption at the starting point of all its projects.
Energy consumption is one of the biggest challenges for companies around the world. Beyond the account expenditures of accessing energy, there is the carbon footprint of industry: its contribution to global warming and the greenhouse effect.
The high costs of these supplies have been aggravated by the energy crisis generated by the war in Ukraine. As a result, one in three Spanish companies – according to data from September 2023 – have switched to solar self-consumption. Salher joins this sustainable initiative to minimise its CO2 emissions while saving on its electricity bill.
Self-consumption, a new value for the Salher brand
After assessing the advantages of making such an investment, Salher has installed photovoltaic panels on the roof of its headquarters in Madrid. During the day, the energy necessary to supply the building’s activity is produced, so that the amortisation of the system is covered.
Poco a poco Salher estudia aplicar estos sistemas en sus diferentes instalaciones.
