Salher supplies two new hospital wastewater treatments in Paraguay
IPS San Pedro del Ycuamandyyu Regional Hospital and IPS Villarica have acquired recently two Salher water treatment systems.
The Paraguayan Instituto de Previsión Social is implementing renovations and improvements in some of the country’s hospitals. For the modernization of their wastewater treatment systems, they have relied on Salher moving bed biofilm reactors with nitrogen removal.
The choice of moving bed biofilm technology meets the need to remove the high polluting loads of hospital waters (much higher than those from domestic wastewater). In addition, this treatment is aimed to reduce the size of the plant and make it as compact as possible.
During the different stages of these projects, Salher has had the continued support of the Paraguayan company RB Ingenieros. Salher has developed the design of each project, as well as the manufacturing and supply of the equipment.
