Salher presents virtual tours of its water treatment plants
In recent years, Salher has been developing its water treatment plant projects in 3D in order to offer its customers the most reliable reproduction of what the WWTP will be like using VR headset. Now, thanks to the experience of Salher’s designers in using these technologies, the company invites you to take virtual tours of some of its plants.
Salher presents a solution for the treatment of highly contaminated flows in the food industry through a virtual reality experience, accessible by computer, smartphone or tablet. New virtual tours of urban, industrial and drinking water treatment plants will soon be available from the Projects section of the Salher website.
Among other benefits, these virtual tours bring the reality of a wastewater treatment plant to a wider audience, allowing them to experience the configuration of these facilities from the inside. In addition, thanks to the different information panels that follow one another during the virtual visit, available in Spanish, English and French, and by following the indications of arrows and an interactive map, which shows us where we are in the plant at all times, we can easily guide ourselves through the plant.
Salher relies on virtual reality to innovate its services
For more than four decades, Salher has been at the forefront of providing solutions for the treatment of wastewater from all sources around the world. Its services include the development of the engineering project, the selection and manufacture of the equipment that will make up the water treatment line, as well as the installation and commissioning of the latter.
In order to diversify its range of services and to be more competitive in an increasingly global market, Salher has opted for innovation and virtual reality, so that any client can virtually walk through their drinking water or wastewater treatment plant before it is even installed.
