Control panel for WWTP
In the last decade, political-legal, technological and economic factors have allowed the water treatment sector to be digitized to obtain a better yield in the production of treated water. The increase in standards presupposes the existence of an objective and safe measurement system.
Development of instrumentation equipment – sensors
Nowadays, it is recommended to implement continuous measurement systems using sensors to collect information in real time and act or accommodate each situation. Through these instrumentation elements, we can control the level of:
- chlorine
- redox
- water hardness
- fouling (by pressure differentials)
- temperature
- pH
- turbidity
- electrical conductivity
- oils…
WWTP operation control
The electrical equipment, valves, sensors, electrodes, pumps, etc., are managed by a programmable automaton, which supervises the operation of those elements of the installation and manages the process of starting, operating, stopping and alarms.
A synoptic chart is incorporated with the 3D graphic representation of the equipment including in the drawing pilots and diodes with indication of the status of running, stopping or failure of the equipment in question.
For remote viewing and management of the installation, the control equipment of the treatment plant has a remote station with SCADA or GSM.
Control systems do not require highly qualified personnel, which guarantees their easy handling and operation.
Digitization of data for remote monitoring and control of the plant
The digitalization of the data offers anticipation and reactivity for plant technicians and ensures optimal maintenance:
- Monitoring of all data in real time
- Secure sending of reports according to frequency needs, always accessible, and with history (trend lines)
- Touchscreen
- Sending alerts (SMS, email) for further attention and assistance by Salher technicians
- Plant remote control
