EPC Project. Salher supplies a custom-designed wastewater treatment plant for the meat processors industry
The last wastewater treatment plant designed by Salher has been a turnkey project consisting of the enlargement and modernization of the WWTP of a leading company in Europe in processed meat products.
This new project was based on the challenge of adapting Salher wastewater treatment equipment to the space and needs of an existing plant. In this sense, Salher is an expert in designing compact and customized water treatment solutions and equipment.
For this industrial WWTP, the most modern technologies have been chosen to obtain higher yields and comply with the required discharge parameters. The water treatment station for this meat processing factory includes two pumping stations, a rotary drum sieve, a homogenization tank, Vespa, the Salher DAF, a biological reactor, a CAF and a sludge storage tank with a third pumping station.
Salher has carried out the different phases of this EPC project, from tailor-made design, to manufacturing of the equipment and its installation at the plant and commissioning. As complementary services, Salher’s technical team has implemented theoretical and practical courses on the operation of the WWTP and it has distributed its operating manuals.
