Salher drinking water treatment plants through filtration all comply with RD 140/2003 and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).

These plants can be installed on GFRP structure-skid with hydraulic and electrical interconnection of the elements and an electrical panel board for control and command of the plant.

Compact water purification plants for water with low pollutant load through filtration, PUR-F

PUR-F

Salher designs compact purification plants for water with low pollutant load through filtration, PUR-F, for the removal of suspended solids, turbidity and pathogen microorganisms and the medium quality treatment water, usually surface water issued from rivers, lakes and reservoirs. This drinking water system is composed of the following elements:

 

  • High efficiency filters in GFRP with automatic cleaning system, provided with silex and anthracite filling material. Optionally, filtration with zeolite filter media (PUR-F-Z), and filtration with activated glass media (PUR-F-V) are available.
  • Ring filter.
  • Feeding systems to filtration systems.
  • Disinfection system and quality control of water.

Compact water purification plants through filtration with active carbon, PUR-FF-CA

PUR-FF-CA

This equipment is used for the removal of suspended solids, organic matter, turbidity and pathogen microorganisms, free chlorine, odors, tastes and absorption of specific organic compounds and the treatment of medium quality water, usually surface water issued from rivers, lakes and reservoirs. This system is composed of:

 

  • High efficiency filters in GFRP with automatic cleaning system, provided with silex and anthracite filling material. There are two alternatives to multilayer filter silex-anthracite: Filtration with zeolite filter media (PUR-FF-ZCA) and filtration with activated glass media (PUR-FF-VCA).
  • Active carbon filter in GFRP with automatic cleaning system.
  • Ring filter with different filtering degrees.
  • Disinfection system and quality control of water.

    Compact water purification plants through filtration with organic matter load PUR-FQFF-CA

    PUR-FQFF-CA

    They are designed to remove suspended solids, turbidity, pathogen microorganisms, chlorine, odors, taste, absorption of organic compounds like pesticides and  contaminants reduction (Fe, Mn) as well as the treatment of medium-low quality water, normally surface water issued from rivers, lakes and reservoirs. These plants consist of:

     

        • Prechlorination system.

        • Participates to the filtration through the dosage of coagulant, flocculants and pH correctors.

        • High efficiency filters in GFRP with automatic cleaning system, provided with silex and anthracite filling material. There are two optional alternatives: filtration with zeolite filter media (PUR-FQF-Z), and filtration with activated glass media (PUR-FQF-V).

        • Activated carbon filters in GFRP with manual or automatic cleaning system.

        • Ring filters with different filtration degrees.

        • System of control of water quality.

    To treat low quality surface water with high turbidity, we design and manufacture compact water purification plants through filtration PUR-FQLF

    PUR-FQLF

    They remove suspended solids, organic matter, turbidity and pathogen microorganisms and reduce pollutants (Fe, Mn,…). These plants are composed of:

    • Prechlorination system.
    • Participates to the filtration through the dosage of coagulant, flocculants and pH correctors.
    • Lamellar settling tank composed of polypropylene rectangular tank and lamellar modules with slope of 60°, with adjustable canal, overflow and inlet, outlet and emptying intakes.
    • High efficiency filters in GFRP with automatic cleaning system, provided with silex and anthracite filling material. Two  alternatives are available in option: filtration with zeolite filter media (PUR-FQLF-Z) and filtration with activated glass media (PUR-FQLF-V).
    • Ring filters with different filtration degrees.
    • System of control of water quality.

    Other options of filtration treatments of Salher are decalcification, denitrification, water demineralization, iron removal or water remineralization.

    In addition, we supply customized compact emergency plants for every need or destination, PUR-EM. They are autonomous mobile plants, easy to operate, with low maintenance and ready for use. The water treatment is done in situ, without hydraulic infrastructure, nor civil engineering works. These emergency drinking water treatment plants remove suspended solids, turbidity and pathogen microorganisms, guaranteeing high-quality potable water.

    ultrafiltration

    Compact water purification plants through ultrafiltration technology PUR-UF

    PUR-UF

    They are very effective systems to remove suspended solids, organic matter, turbidity, pathogen microorganisms and specific metals. These treatments can also be used as pretreatment systems in process of reverse osmosis.

    Compact water purification plants through ultrafiltration are designed in accordance with RD 140/2003 and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO). They can be installed on GFRP structure with hydraulic and electrical interconnection of the elements and a panel board with optional PLC. The equipment is composed of the following elements:

     

    • Ring filter with different filtration degrees.
    • Vertical ultrafiltration modules of high efficiency with hydrophilic tubular membranes, with reinforced hollow fiber with porosity < 0,1 μm.
    • Cleaning system composed of raw water tank, reagent tank, dosing system, compressor and cleaning circuit pump.

    Compact reverse osmosis plants for small flows

    All the Salher drinking water treatment plants through reverse osmosis comply with RD 140/2003 and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).

    They offer the possibility to be installed on GFRP structure with hydraulic and electrical interconnection of the elements and a panel board for control and command of the plant.

    Every drinking water systems through reverse osmosis will be studied case by case.

    Compact purification plants through reverse osmosis technology

    PUR-MINIRO

    PUR-MINIRO

    To treat small flows very effectively, Salher offers compact purification plants through reverse osmosis technology PUR-MINIRO. This system is used for the removal of inorganic matter, salinity, pollutants, concentration of ions in water and pathogen microorganisms and it is composed of the following elements:

    • Microfiltration of 5 microns.Skid equipped with spiral wound membranes (PA/PS) with high salt rejection, available sizes of 2,5’’ and 4’’, for any salt concentration.
    • Autocleaning system with dragging –flushing–.
    • Conductivimeter for control of permeate.
    • Opcionally a chemical cleaning unit –CIP– could be included.

    Compact purification plants through reverse osmosis technology PUR-MAXIRO-BW and PUR-MAXIRO-SW

    PUR-MAXIRO

    To treat large flows very effectively, Salher offers compact purification plants through reverse osmosis technology PUR-MAXIRO-BW y PUR-MAXIRO-SW.

    PUR-MAXIRO-BW removes inorganic matter, salinity, pollutants, concentration of ions in water and pathogen microorganisms. This plant is composed of:

        • Ring filter with different filtration degrees.
        • Antifouling treatment in line to avoid incrustations in membranes and problems in the reverse osmosis process.
        • Microfiltration of 5 micron.
        • Skid equipped with spiral wound membranes (PA/PS) with high salt rejection, available in sizes of 2,5’’, 4’’ and 8’’, for any salt concentration.
        • Automatic cleaning system through –flushing- with permeate water.
        • Conductivimeter for permeate control.
        • Opcionally automatic or manual chemical cleaning unit –CIP–.

    PUR-MAXIRO-SW removes brackish water with high salt content and seawater, including flushing with permeate water. Salher makes a previous study in every particular case to achieve the maximum conversion rate with lower energy consumption.

    Desinfection system

    SAL-CLPH

    Automatic chlorination system with sodium hypochlorite and pH adjustment SAL-CLPH 

    It is an equipment for conditioning and maintenance of the water quality of treated water tanks, in accordance with RD 140/2003 related to water for human consumption, and RD 865/2003 «sanitary hygienic criteria for legionellosis prevention and control».

    SAL-RX

    Automatic redox station SAL-RX

    It is a chlorine-redox automatic equipment for water quality maintenance in fire protection water tanks and water reuse tanks, WWTP effluent pathogens removal, etc. in accordance with RD 865/2003 «hygienic sanitary criteria for legionellosis prevention and control».

    Chorination chamber with dosing system CVC-CE

    is an automatic chlorination equipment for water purification tanks, and removal of pathogens in WWTP effluent, etc. It consists of a contact-chlorination chamber manufactured in GFRP, cylindrical vertical layout with contact deflectors and a dosing system of hypochlorite.

     

    Automatic ozone generation system SAL-OZ

    is used as a pretreatment to remove turbidity, detergents, surface active substance and oxidation of compounds. This system is very effective disinfectant against bacteria and pathogens and powerful virus and microorganisms deactivator.

     

    Desinfection by ultraviolet SAL-UV

    Salher uses an automatic equipment designed to destroy harmful bacteria and virus in water. The UY mercury-vapor lamp (ray UV-C λ= 254 nm) destroys bacteria since it interacts at molecular level with ADN and ARN.
