Customised compact solutions: Salher’s latest project includes several urban water treatments plants for the energy industry
Salher’s engineers are expert developers of compact water solutions for any kind of companies. Its latest reference in this sense has been to treat urban water of the workers’ camp of an energy production industry, and it consists of eleven plants for different flow rates and needs.
In order to meet the different needs for the treatment of wastewater generated by the workers of a large industrial complex, Salher designed three set of solutions:
Firstly, to provide the most compact solution possible for small urban flows, Salher studied different options, finally opting for nine small treatment plants that concentrate the different stages of water treatment in a single reactor.
This option, which includes pumping station, screening systems, biological treatment and final disinfection in a single reactor, fits perfectly into the limited space available and is also the easiest solution for the transport and the installation by the customer.
The second project that Salher tackled for this energy industry required the treatment of larger flows than the previous solution. It was solved with two compact treatment plants, in the same style as the previous ones, including pumping station, screening systems, biological treatment and final disinfection in a single reactor.
Finally, for the treatment of large flows of greywater and sewage, Salher opted for a modular solution that could be shipped in standard sea containers and whose line consisted of pumping station, screening systems, grease separation, homogenization chamber, moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR), lamellar settler, final disinfection and a sludge thickener. Each stage optimised for size and performance.
Salher offers compact solutions meeting all wastewater treatment needs.
Salher has more than 40 years of experience developing independent solutions for companies of different sizes and sectors, adjusting to the needs of each client to treat wastewater in remote camp installations and extreme climates.
